Joaquin de Monet is President and CEO of Arden Realty. Throughout his career, de Monet has been a seasoned builder of growth businesses, with a proven track record executing large equity and debt transactions and leading high performance global teams in large real estate investing and operating companies. To date, he has arranged and managed over $10 billion additional investments in the United States and Mexico.

De Monet successfully guided Arden through $6 billion of investment activity that transformed the company from a regional office REIT into a nationally recognized office and industrial landlord, establishing the company as a value-add investor and a premier operator with over $5 billion in assets and 27 million square feet.

De Monet's deep domain expertise in the areas of leasing and operations lead to the creation of GE's Global Leasing and Operations Center of Excellence, GE's international commercial real estate portfolio of more than of 100 million square feet, driving best practices in leasing, operational excellence and collaboration across global teams.  He also serves as the business champion of a company-wide initiative, GE Advantage to improve tenant satisfaction and retention.

Prior to Arden, de Monet was first director of Corporate Accounts for Cushman and Wakefield and then Managing Director of GE Real Estate's Mexico Operations. During his tenure there, he successfully oversaw a major expansion from $750 million to $3.5 billion in assets by re-focusing the business from predominately structured debt to a fully diversified debt and equity platform.
